Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958, in extremely poor conditions. Her mother worked as a teacher and failed actor, while her father sold cars. Jennifer was the youngest of four kids in her family, frequently attended her mother to her theater performances and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's father and mother divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her young life living in British Columbia after her mom moved there along with four other children. Jennifer even though she'd been quite an artistic child but was hardly a knowledgeable person. She was frequently the target of a bullying incident as a result of her time in Canada's schools. In high school her passion for theater started to diminish. In an effort to counter this, her mother helped her participate as an extra in various plays. The influence of her mother was to inspire all the kids in her family to have a passion and interest for performing arts. Then she began to act.
